The System of Dr. Linus and Professor Brooks

Just confirmed today, I will be going on a business trip to the south
on Monday, I decided to take a couple of books to read during my stay.

Just for Fun - The Story of an Accidental Revolutionary
by Linus Torvalds and David Diamond.

The Mythical Man-Month - Essays on Software Engineering
by Frederick P. Brooks, JR.

Books to Read

I usually don’t get to read them on business trips but I will make time
and read them before my triumphant return in one weeks time.

Does anybody have any suggestions on a good science fiction book to take?

EDIT: Thank’s `Serge` for the head up on the misplaced `r` in `Torvalds`, yes even I. The fastest typist in the west sometimes makes mistakes :-)

I found a Feisty Fawn in my lawn!

I tested Kubuntu Feisty Fawn a few days ago; I am quite impresses with the way the Ubuntu project has evolved. It provides a great starting point for any GNU/Linux amateur.

Denise is a designer. Her progressive attitude convinced her to give GNU/Linux a go; already a Inkscape and Gimp pro converting would be a peace of cake.

I first tested out one of her computers and decided to kill off the windows xp machine, tested Kubuntu on it and to my surprise the wireless PCI card was working out of the box, so it was settled.
