It seems that Microsoft has finally accepted that the Free Software movement is a real threat. Microsoft has funded a world wide smut campaign.

Bill Gates “Mini-Me”, Bill Hilf had this to say to the Asian press:

Yes, I know you can’t expect anybody to believe that load of bollox ( except the average Microsoft Junky ), the response was swift and clear:

The Free Software movement has been growing every day, more and more people find there way to the “light-side”. We need more developers, that means we need to make more noise, Don’t be scared to contact your local soft-news journalist, your local Radio DJ and even your local religious leader ( “X God told me that free software is the way to go.” ), Tell them all about “Free Software” and it’s avantages, let’s not stoop to their level.

Finally! I downloaded the new release and installed it on a few test boxes and I must say the Gentoo boys did another great job! smooth and stable just like all others.

Tomorrow I test the LiveCD and LiveDVD.

I tested Kubuntu Feisty Fawn a few days ago; I am quite impresses with the way the Ubuntu project has evolved. It provides a great starting point for any GNU/Linux amateur.

Denise is a designer. Her progressive attitude convinced her to give GNU/Linux a go; already a Inkscape and Gimp pro converting would be a peace of cake.

I first tested out one of her computers and decided to kill off the windows xp machine, tested Kubuntu on it and to my surprise the wireless PCI card was working out of the box, so it was settled.

So there I was.. minding my own business… when my girl friend comes up to me and
says “Look at the little pacman, isn’t that cute!”.

So my wiki config stood still while I made this wallpaper for my Gentoo box.
