I’ve had trouble with the Dreamhost service for a year now… I manage a few servers myself so I understand
most of the troubles that hit high traffic servers and how clients can be arse holes sometimes, but a year was long enough.
I emailed them over the constant connection problems with there server and how it affected my work since I use there Jabber Server as my primary form of communication.
I was moved to another server, now the HTTP service has improved dramatically but to my surprise the Jabber Service has killed over since.
Today I got an email from support 24 hours after my last email was sent to them telling me it has been fixed it seems to have been fixed but without my user, so I guess I have lost all my contacts most of which are clients.
I have resorted to rent a dedicated server for my personal use, I can’t have this happen again.
