Twitter AmaroK Update

Install:

1) In AmaroK goto Tools > Script Manager
2) Hit install and select the downloaded package.
3) After install right click on “twitter-update.sh” and select “Edit”.
4) Customise your Username and Password in the specified location and save.
5) Now hit Run and Close.

love the idea of amarok to twitter. Amarok tells me it is installed but I don’t see how I can get the script to run. Looking at the shell script it looks like it should just post to twitter on track change is that correct?

In your instruction line 3) where should I see that? twitter script doesn’t appear in the list of the script manager. Love to get this working.

I dug a bit deeper. Seems as though dcop doesn’t recognise amarok due to the way I installed it (using amarok-nightly on ubuntu). I’ll revisit when amarok 2 is released.

How often does “declare -rx ALWAYS_UPDATE=0″ update tracks?
